Dear Mr. Hoover,

I Am a little girl 14 years old. in and live in the Country in Live in North Vassalboro, Maine papa is poor and Sick

I see you and our New President picture in the paper often my papa and mama both Voted for Mr. Hoover. We are republicans. I told my moma  I was going to Write and see if you had any clothes you don't Want some shoes. you Don't Want,

I see you and mr. Hoover on board of the ship I exspect you hade a Wonderful time.

     Mrs. Hoover is very sorry that she hasn't any old clothes which might be of

use to you and your family. She has many more requests for old dresses than she has new

ones, and so she is very sorry that she cannot help you now.
