The Board of Directors of the Reconstruction Finance Corporation today announced that it had authorized the issuance of a series of notes up to an aggregate amount of $250,000,000, maturing October 27, 1932, and bearing interest at the rate of 3 1/2% per annum. The notes will be purchased by the Secretary of the Treasury as the funds are required by the Corporation.
