	Hoover's Recollections in His Own Handwriting

	Hoover wrote the first part of his memoirs during 1915-1916 when he was occupied with Belgian Relief. At that time he constantly had to journey backwards and forwards from London. These journeys were filled with hours of waiting, which he filled by writing his memoirs.
